NEW RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR SCHOLARS REGARDING PHOTOGRAPHY OF EGYPTIAN MUSEUM OBJECTS
ARCE has been notified that the Egyptian Museum in Cairo has implemented new rules for scholars wishing to take photos for study or research publication. A fee structure is in effect and a Study Request Application must be submitted in advance. PDFs of the application form and the photography rules and fees are available for downloading. ARCE’s United States headquarters is moving from San Antonio, TX to
Alexandria, VA this spring.

ANNOUNCES NEW DEVELOPMENT & MEMBERSHIP MANAGER
Jessica Rosenthal came on board May 22
as ARCE's new Development & Membership Manager.
Jessica has
over a decade of experience in both community and international
nonprofits. Her combination of results-oriented leadership, monitoring
and evaluation expertise, and communication skills will be a great asset to
ARCE's members, especially our Chapters. She will be reporting to interim
Development Director Jenny Archer.

ARCE ANNOUNCES NEW BUSINESS & FINANCE DIRECTOR
Karim Seikaly will be joining ARCE as its Business &
Finance Director, effective April 3, 2017. He will be assuming the
responsibilities of ARCE Chief Financial Officer Kathann El-Amin, who will be
retiring effective April 30, after more than 10 years of outstanding and
dedicated service to ARCE.
