5 SEPTEMBER 2007:
On September 5, 2007, Dr. Hawass returned to Philadelphia and was remarkably generous with his time, holding a special, members-only event with ARCE-PA. Chapter members were treated to an evening talk on the most recent discoveries in Egypt and other ongoing work. The talk was followed by some time with Dr. Hawass and a members' reception.
February 2007
During his visit to Philadelphia in February of 2007, Dr. Zahi Hawass became a member of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Research Center in Egypt. Some of our officers and members had a chance to meet and take photographs with Dr. Hawass while he was in town.
